The lecture “Investment Banking as a Career Choice” by Iva Vukina, Managing director at Goldman Sachs in New York and board member of the Grace Institution in New York, allowed our students to learn first hand about building a career in finance.
Alongside Iva Vukina was Tomislav Kesić, CFA, our professor in Finance and Accounting who contributed with his knowledge of the local financial market and his own experiences working for some of the key financial institutions in Croatia.
Our students got the opportunity to do mock interviews, exercise their elevator pitch, and receive valuable input on how to sell themselves to their future employers as well as make themselves noticeable in the industry.
