On Saturday, one of our most important events took place – Entrance Exam Day. The day began with a welcome from our Dean, Mato Njavro, who welcomed our prospective students, giving them a speech explaining the importance of their current academic choices, but also eased the tension by telling everyone to just relax and do their best.
Generally, our entrance exam consists of three parts – Mathematics, English and Motivational Essay. Each part is constructed in such a way as to show us and our candidates whether ZSEM is the right choice for them.
After the written part, our professors start with interviews that give them the opportunity to meet their future students personally, to see what their expectations are for future education and where they see themselves in a few years.
While the candidates were taking the exam, their friends and family were waiting for them in our living room enjoying brunch.
Entrance exam day is one of our favorite days. It is the first opportunity where we see potential students who will soon start their academic journey inside our halls. We are proud to be a key part of their career development and future success!
