Goran Buturac, PhD, lecturer at the Department of Economics participated in a conference organized by Vecernji list “Croatia what we need.” He spoke about the reforms needed in order to make the Croatian agricultural production competitive.
“Goran Buturac from the Economics Institute lectured on agriculture and food industry. He said that Croatia has a rich tradition of food production, high-quality raw material base, but also the recognition of certain brands in international markets. […] He also stressed the importance of export orientation:
– Instead of the current slogan “Buy Croatian” we will have to adopt the motto “Export Croatian” – said Buturac. ”
