ZSEM accepted into the CFA Institute program

The Zagreb School of Economics and Management is the latest educational institution that has been admitted to the University Affiliation Program of the CFA Institute. The MBA Finance and Banking specialization includes at least 70% of the knowledge from the CFA’s Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) program and places emphasis on the Code of Ethics and Practice Standards enacted by the CFA Institute.

Entrance to the CFA Institute Affiliation Program signals to potential students, employers, and the market, that the ZSEM curriculum is closely tied to professional practices and is well-tailored to prepare students for CFA examinations. Through its entry into this program, ZSEM is entitled to a limited number of student scholarships for the CFA program each year. ZSEM’s graduate finance and banking program is currently ranked among the top 10 programs of this kind in Eastern Europe. The program prepares students for careers in banking, investment funds, insurance companies and other similar organizations. An important feature of this program is the optimal combination of basic theoretical knowledge of modern finance and mergers, and the theory of contemporary practices prevalent in today’s domestic and foreign financial institutions and markets.

This is a great honor for ZSEM, as the CFA Institute is a world-renowned association that brings together investment professionals and sets the standard professional excellence. It is also the first to promote ethical behavior in investment markets and a respected source of knowledge for the world financial community. For more information, visit their site.
