On Monday and Tuesday, October 18th and 19th, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management participated in the Expo University fair in Dubrovnik.
For the first time in history, Dubrovnik, organized by the Center for Youth Careers Dubrovnik, hosted the EXPO festival of higher education institutions, which was visited by about 2,000 high school graduates.
EXPO University fair is intended for high school seniors, students, and other interested stakeholders to inform about study programs, achievements in certain fields, equipment of individual faculties, curricula, undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate studies, student life, and many other details. The fair enables the positioning of Dubrovnik as the center of the county, encouraging students and staff to continue with their education, offering them direct information about all available institutions in one. University fairs are the most important events for the higher education sector in the field of outreach and a possibility to increase young people’s interest in education and given opportunities.
As part of the EXPO University fair there were numerous educational panels organized in which our lecturers Nikol Šćrbec and Matej Nakić participated. Matej Nakić, mag.psych participated in the panel “Working hours of dinosaurs” where the future of the way of working was discussed, and Nikol Šćrbec, MBA participated in the panel “Do we all have the same access to education” where she presented the possibilities of scholarships for students.
