Previous week finalists of the “ZSEM OPEN4BUSINESS” competition went on a study trip to Italy organized by ZSEM in collaboration with H-FARM, the largest and most modern European campus for innovation, digitization, and incubation of startups in this part of Europe.
So far H-FARM has invested more than 28 million euros in 120 startups, and this technological, state-of-the-art international campus recognizes tech talents from all over the world and encourages their development. ZSEM’s Global Executive MBA program is run in collaboration with H-FARM, whose lectures began a few weeks ago. The program focuses on the main challenges of the future, digital transformation, sustainability, and the creation of business strategies for the 21st century.
As part of the study trip, a total of 30 students participated in H-FARM’s “Entrepreneurial Bootcamp” whose experts worked with our students to elevate existing startup ideas that led them to the finals of the competition.
During their stay at H-FARM, the students also visited companies such as Big Rock, Institute of Magic Technologies – the first school of visual effects in Italy. BigRock is a leader in 3D animation education in this part of Europe, whose institute trains hundreds of new computer graphics professionals every year. During the visit, the students tried out their “VR experience” created by their students. Many BigRock alumni today work for leading film production companies such as Pixar, DreamWorks, and Paramount, and their names have appeared in the final titles of big movie hits in recent years. In addition to Big Rock, the students also visited the Fioravanti Onesti winery where they learned more about wine production and cultivation.
The students returned from the trip full of impressions, new knowledge, and experiences that will last them a lifetime. Check out the unfogettable atmosphere in the photo gallery!
