The Council of Polytechnics and Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Croatia is a body in the Croatian higher education system consisting of a total of 34 higher education institutions; Polytechnics and colleges that have a Permit for performing higher education activities in the Republic of Croatia issued by the Ministry of Science and Education.
On Friday, May 13, 2022, A solemn session of the Council of Polytechnics and Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Croatia was held at the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of this body’s activity in the Croatian academic community. The importance of professional studies and polytechnics and colleges for the higher education system in Croatia was emphasized at the ceremony, and recognitions and awards were given to organizations and individuals who have systematically contributed to the development of polytechnics, colleges, and vocational studies in Croatia.
