MBA Open Days – Tourism TalkZS,
held on Wednesday, March 16 at 5 pm via ZOOM.
The moderator of the Tourism TalkZ panel is Matea Hanžek, a lecturer at the Department of Marketing and Tourism and a Ph.D. student at the University of Brighton who is researching branding tourist destinations. Matea will host our dear alumni and talk about the development of camps and their business in Croatia.

Lana Iviček, Director of Boutique Camping Bunja **
Lana Iviček was born in Zagreb in 1988. After the completion of VIII. Gymnasiums enrolled in the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, where she completed her undergraduate studies and MBA Marketing. She worked on many student jobs in the sales departments during her studies. After completing her undergraduate studies, she worked for MATE Publishing House in the sales department. She transferred to the sister company ZSEM – Business Academy in the position of Executive Director, where she worked on lifelong learning projects. In 2018, she moved to the company Camp Bunja as the director of the boutique camp on the island of Brač. Lana is in charge of camp management, sales, marketing, finance, and people management. Lana has extensive experience in managing various projects and communicating with customers.
Mia Pavelić, General Manager of Camp Šimuni d.o.o., Camping Village Šimuni
Mia Pavelić was born in Zagreb in 1988. After finishing VII. Gymnasium, she enrolls in the Zagreb School of Economics and Management undergraduate study program. Since 2007 he has been working in the family company Kamp Šimuni d.o.o. Since 2013 she has been working as a company director. He is fluent in English, German, and Italian. Camp Simuni d.o.o. manages the Camping Village Šimuni, on the island of Pag.
Considering her function, Mia Pavelić is in charge of the company’s operational operations and makes decisions related to investments, strategic affairs, and the like, and is responsible for financial results.
Giulia Ukušić, managerial position in the companies Mini karavan servis d.o.o, head of Polidor Family Camping Resort ****
She was born in Koper in 1991, and in Poreč she obtained a high school diploma in Hotel and Tourism Technician. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in undergraduate studies at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management, where he continued his education at MBA Management.
Giulia has extensive work experience in tourism working in the camps of Maistra d.d., sales department at Valamar, and since 2015 in the family company Mini karavan servis d.o.o. which manages the Polidor beach bar and the Polidor Family Camping Resort. He actively speaks foreign languages: English, Italian, and German.
