About speakers:
Dejan Gostimir, MSc
Dejan Gostimir is one of the leading experts in the field of Internal Auditing and eXtesible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) in Croatia. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Mark Gabriel Consulting and owner of several very successful companies, one of which is Orkis, the leading accounting company in Croatia.
He has over 23 years of experience in internal auditing, bookkeeping, accounting, forensic accounting, taxation, finance and management. He is certified internal auditor for the field of economy and information systems and one of the few XBRL certificate holder in Croatia. He has worked as a Chief Financial Officer at several renowned pharmaceutical companies and as a consultant for the Accenture corporation on providing consulting services in the area of internal auditing to Fortune 500 companies. He has also worked on several cases of forensic accounting.
Maja Martinović, Ph.D.
Maja Martinović is a lecturer at Zagreb School of Economics and Management, Department of Marketing and Tourism, where she teaches Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy and Product Management. She is also an Associate Dean for the Graduate MBA program, and the Chair of the Department of Marketing and Communication at Zagreb School of Economics and Management. At the MBA program of Barcelona Management Institute (BMI) she teaches a course Going to market. Previously, she worked as a marketing and sales manager for over 10 years.
