The Zagreb School of Economics and Management, in cooperation with the University of Management and Economics (ISM) from Lithuania and HEC Liège – Management School, University of Liège from Belgium, developed the Erasmus Mundus Master in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE) graduate study. The mission of this study is to contribute to the education of a new generation of influential entrepreneurs. Its ultimate vision is to contribute to creating an inclusive economy driven by values of equality that give meaning to everyday life by creating human, ecological, and economic value through an entrepreneurial approach.

EMMIE is an 18-month graduate course where students study for one semester at each partner university. It is the only existing Erasmus Mundus in management and entrepreneurship. During the first semester in Croatia, 25 students will attend classes at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management who will acquire general knowledge of business management. Some of them are, for the first time, representing countries that until now ZŠEM has not had the opportunity to introduce into its classrooms, such as Sri Lanka, Iran, Gambia, Ghana, the Philippines, Thailand, and Algeria, and we will also have students from Texas (USA). , Italy, Nigeria, Kenya, Pakistan, Mexico, Brazil, and neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina. Students will develop critical managerial competencies that every future entrepreneur should have. In the second semester, students will study vital concepts related to technology and innovation management at the University of Management and Economics in Lithuania, and the third semester will be held in Belgium at HEC Liège – ULiège. In that final semester, students will acquire essential entrepreneurship-related competencies with particular emphasis on practical projects.

According to research on international students, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management is the leader, with 34% of international students. This is another recognition for ZŠEM, which shows that students from abroad recognize work and quality, which is why they are their favorite choice in Croatia.
