ZSEM Representatives from Croatian Diaspora attend G2.3 Conference in Zagreb

From November 6-8, 2017, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management participated in the international business conference for Croatians at home and abroad entitled ”Meeting G2.3 (Meeting Second Generation) which was held at the Congressional Center Forum in Zagreb.

The goal of the conference was to connect Croatian emigrants from all over the world with international, national and local bodies in an effort to strenghten business ties. As part of the panel discussion on ”how to better promote Croatian products around the world”, ZSEM’s representatives suggested that information about Study in Croatia should be made more transparent and easily accessible to Croatian communities around the world. ZSEM’s undergraduate and graduate (MBA) programs which are fully taught in English and are internationally AACSB accredited are attractive to Croats living abroad who wish to experience living in Croatia while continuing their studies at a highly-ranked international business school. Thus, ZSEM called on and received support from conference attendees to help dissemminate this information to Croats around the world.

The conference was organized under the auspices of the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović,  as well as under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the the Central State Office for Croats Abroad, with the support of the Agency for Investments and Competitiveness,  the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments  (HAMAG-BICRO), the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Zagreb Tourist Board as well as numerous other international and local bodies and organizations.
